Anchor and Mooring

New angles for an old challenge...

The challenge has been around as long as boating-how to hold the boat securely at anchor or at mooring. Attwood sees the challenge as an opportunity to innovate and satisfy customers' needs.

Here are two new advanced designs that protect the boat and keep our customers satisfied.

Chene Anchor

The new Chene anchor needs no heavy chain because the 45 degree angle shank has a sharper angle of attack.  It digs in deeper, delivers four times the holding power, and requires 70% less anchor line compared to other fluke anchor systems.

  • Unique shank allows foolproof vertical release.

  • Requires 70% less anchor line

  • Heavy duty zinc with a chromate sealer; full-length welded joints; reinforcing bar strengthens flukes and prevents deflection

  • Guaranteed against bending and breakage

SoftSide Oval Shape Mooring Fenders

Attwood's new fenders may look simple... but they're loaded with features that make them a dramatic improvement over earlier models.

  • Molded from a lightweight polymeric material that is soft to the touch and easy on hulls

  • Resistant to UV, chalking, splitting and crushing

  • Double molded eye-ends for extra strength

  • Seamless one-piece construction

  • Oval shape and ribbed sides resist rolling against hull

  • Guaranteed for life against splitting or bursting
