Cut Piles-Polypropylene

Sparta's line of cut piles, carpet with the face composed of cut ends of yarn, comes in a wide variety of face weights, ounces of yarn per square yard.  Using face weight is a common procedure to help compare various products.  The polypropylene line of cut piles consists of weights ranging from 12 up to 28 oz.  Sparta has the capability to offer customer specific weights if necessary. 

• G025 Medallion:       

  • 12 oz. cut pile specifically designed for the trailer building industry.  Tufted on a 5/32 gauge set-up, this product provides good coverage at an affordable price.

• G026 Spectrum:       

  • 16 oz. cut pile designed for optimal performance from a 1/8 gauge set-up.  With this style, the customer can feel confident the coverage and overall feel of the product is at its maximum.  Very popular with our pontoon and ski boat customers.

• CP18 Alamo:            

  • 18 oz. cut pile designed for optimal performance from a 1/8 gauge set-up.  With this style, the customer can feel confident the coverage and overall feel of the product is at its maximum.  Very popular with our pontoon and ski boat customers.

• G015 Bayside:           

  • 20 oz. cut pile designed for high end floor applications.  Tufted on a 1/8 gauge set-up, this product provides the customer with a superb coverage and feel at a competitive price.  Standard products on virtually all of our bass boat builders.

• G075 Tahoe:             

  • 24 oz. cut pile designed for those boat builders looking a leg up on their competitors.  Tufted on a 1/8 gauge set-up, this product can be comparable compared to similar products being offered by our competitors

• G028 Highlander:     

  • 28 oz. cut pile designed for those rare boat builders who are looking for that “plush” feel you normally find in your home or office.  The 1/8 gauge construction is pushed to the limit on both the pile height and stitch rate thus giving the customer, the maximum amount of yarn on marine carpet can handle.

Patterned Carpets-Polypropylene

Sparta's line of patterned products, carpets with a combination of cut ends and looped ends of yarn, are manufactured with the same polypropylene yarn system used in the cut piles.  This enables the customer to offer both products without changing the vinyl make-up to accommodate two different colors of reds, blues, etc.  Our patterned line of carpet varies between 20 and 28 oz.  All products are specified with marine back but other backing options are available.

•  SCLXXXX Series:               

  • 20, 22, 24 and 28 oz. patterned products using state of the art computer controlled tufting equipment owned by Sparta Carpets.  Using this new technology, we are able to offer the customer an unlimited array of repeatable patterns designed by the customer to meet their specific needs.  With low minimums and competitive pricing, we are excited about what opportunities lie ahead with these products.
